ABOUT ME
Marissa De Freitas is my name and I am the CEO of Dreamworks Artistry. I was trained and certified by Trinidad and Tobago's very own certificed Makeup Artist (MUA) Dion Samuel. I went on to become internationally certified by Buntricia Bastian and her Beautiful "Bteam". At this international conference, I became certified in the following Makeup looks- this includes colour theory, colour blocking, Application; Airbrushing; as well as eyelashes extention.
What is your Passion? This are the questions I asked myself before I made my venture into the makeup industry. This is no job, it is a joy! I started Dreamworks Artistry in March 2014 with no regrets. Dreamworks is designed to create looks that clients have dreamt of, as well as also explore the world of makeup.
As a Freelance Makeup Artist (MUA) I have worked with several Photographers in both indoors and outdoors settings. I have had clients of various ages, races, genders, religious backgrounds, ethnicities etc. Making the client happy is my main goal. Transforming a blank canvas into a work or art brings an unspeakable joy to both my clients and myself. Nothing pleases me more than a very satisfied client. It is much like a dream come true when you see that gleaming smile radiating from a clients' face. To me makeup is a tool and skillset, that can be harnessed and utilized to enhance existing beauty.
Dreamworks Artistry recently started training courses, in addition to the sale of beauty products such as high quality brushes, eyeshadow pallets, foundations, face powder, etc. Dreamworks have also created its very own make up journal which allows both beginners and seasoned veterans to record their makeup journey.
